Man charged with attempting murder by poisoning woman’s tea
A chilling incident unfolded in Sydney’s far south-west as a man was charged with poisoning his wife’s tea in an alleged murder attempt.

Stephan Wagner, a 61-year-old businessman and educator, appeared in Campbelltown court today facing charges for the attempted murder of his wife, Glenda Wagner, aged 66.

Last month, Glenda fell seriously ill after consuming tea that was suspected to be laced with insecticides, which police believe was prepared by her own husband, Stephan.
