Macron visits Ukrainian troops at French camp.

French President Emmanuel Macron visited a military camp in eastern France to inspect Ukrainian troops trained by France amid the ongoing conflict with Russia. The troops, part of the “Anne de Kiev brigade,” are preparing for front-line deployment with French-supplied weapons and combat training.

Macron’s office revealed that the brigade, comprising 4,500 troops, will receive armored carriers, artillery pieces, tanks, anti-tank missiles, and heavy trucks as part of a military aid package worth up to €3 billion. The training, overseen by French military personnel, has progressed well, according to a colonel known as Paul.

The Ukrainian troops have shown significant progress during the training, with Macron emphasizing the importance of supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. The brigade, a symbol of unity, highlights the strong partnership between France and Ukraine in the face of external threats.
