Israel promises to retaliate after Iran’s missile attacks

Israel is gearing up for a major retaliation following Iran’s recent missile strikes. According to reports, Israel may target Iran’s oil production facilities and other key sites in the coming days. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, while stating that Iran does not want war, warned of a response if Israel takes action against the country.

Meanwhile, the conflict has taken a heavy toll on both sides. Lebanon reported 46 deaths and 85 injuries from Israeli airstrikes, while Israel confirmed the loss of eight soldiers in combat with Hezbollah in Lebanon. In a controversial move, Israel’s foreign minister has barred UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres from entering the country, citing his failure to sufficiently condemn Iran’s attack on Israel.
