Stabbing Rampage in Hadera: Six Injured Before Assailant Neutralised
Israeli police reported at least six people were wounded in a stabbing rampage in four different locations in Hadera, with the assailant being neutralised. The attack left several individuals in varying conditions, receiving life-saving medical treatment before being transported to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center.
Far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir commended armed civilians who helped stop the attack, expressing disappointment at the suspect’s survival. Israeli government spokesman David Mencer attributed the incident to Hamas incitement, vowing that such attacks would not succeed.
Hamas later praised the stabbing as a “heroic operation,” calling for more strikes against the occupation. The suspect, identified as Ahmad Jabareen, 36, from Umm al-Fahm, has not had information disclosed by Israeli authorities.
This incident follows a recent shooting and stabbing in Tel Aviv claimed by Hamas, with Palestinian militants continuing to carry out attacks on Israelis since a previous conflict sparked by Hamas in Gaza last year.
