Gaza Health Ministry Says Israel Demands Evacuation of 3 Remaining Hospitals in Northern Gaza

Israel has demanded the evacuation of three hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip and surrounded one of them, as stated by the enclave’s Health Ministry. The Ministry revealed that Kamal Adwan Hospital, Indonesian Hospital, and Al-Awda Hospital were asked to evacuate patients and medical workers or face destruction, murder, and arrests similar to Al-Shifa Hospital.
The Israel military’s aggression has led to a situation where Kamal Adwan Hospital is at risk of shutting down due to a fuel shortage. A United Nations report highlighted that only 17 out of 36 hospitals in Gaza are partially functional, with the remaining 19 completely out of service. Within North Gaza, only three hospitals are currently operational, the same three now under evacuation orders.
Recent conflicts on October 7, 2023, saw intense violence between Israel and Hamas, resulting in casualties and significant damage. The situation has escalated, with an increasing death toll and injuries reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry.
