Israeli Attack in Damascus Results in 7 Deaths and 11 Injuries

A recent Israeli strike on a residential building in the Mazzeh neighborhood of Damascus has resulted in seven fatalities, including children and women, and 11 injuries, as reported by Al-Jazeera. The attack, which caused extensive material damage, occurred at 8:15 pm and targeted a densely populated area.

The Defense Ministry confirmed that the victims included children and women, with the strike taking place near embassies and security headquarters. Earlier reports indicated that the Syrian air defenses engaged hostile targets, highlighting the escalating tensions in the region.

The attack, which destroyed several floors of the building and caused damage to nearby vehicles, underscores the ongoing conflict in the region. While the Israeli army declined to comment on the incident, concerns over civilian casualties and the targeting of specific groups persist.
