Israel alleges killing Nasrallah’s heirs

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed in a video released by his office to have assassinated two successors to Hezbollah’s slain leader in Lebanon airstrikes. The deputy leader of Hezbollah, amidst a series of killings of senior commanders in Israeli airstrikes, hinted at a possible cease-fire.

Netanyahu boasted about degrading Hezbollah’s capabilities by eliminating key figures, including Hassan Nasrallah and his potential successors. This comes after increased airstrikes by Israel following border clashes with Hezbollah, who supports Palestinian resistance groups.

Amidst rising tensions, Iran fired missiles at Israel, prompting warnings and threats of retaliation. Western powers are seeking a diplomatic solution to prevent further escalation in the Middle East, a region vital for oil production.

Nasrallah successor likely ‘eliminated’

Hashem Safieddine, the expected successor to Nasrallah, has been a prime target for Israel due to his influential leadership role in Hezbollah. Despite the strikes, Hezbollah has reaffirmed its capabilities and willingness to negotiate a truce in Lebanon.
