In a fiery statement on social media, Iranian spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei accused the occupying regime of attempting to draw the region into a dangerous conflict in order to manipulate the upcoming US election. Baqaei criticized the US security agencies for falsely accusing Iran of interfering in their internal affairs, calling it an “absurd twist of facts.”
Tehran has vehemently denied any involvement in trying to influence the US presidential election, dismissing the allegations as baseless. Iranian officials have also pointed out that the internal problems facing the US cannot be solved by blaming other countries and making unfounded accusations.
