Iran’s recent retaliatory missile strike against Israeli military targets resulted in the destruction of a significant number of Israeli F-35 fighter jets, according to an adviser to the commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Brigadier General Ebrahim Jabbari revealed that 90 percent of the missiles fired by Iran on October 1 successfully hit their intended targets in Israel. The IRGC also conducted cyber and electronic warfare operations against Israeli air defense systems during the strike, enhancing the effectiveness of the missile attack.
Jabbari stated that Iran’s ballistic missiles managed to hit important Israeli bases and F-35 hangars, causing significant damage to the warplanes. The surprise attack caught both Israel and the US off guard, despite their advanced defensive measures.
The successful operation showcases Iran’s military capabilities and readiness to defend itself against foreign threats. The IRGC’s strategic planning and execution have demonstrated Iran’s strength in the face of adversity.
