The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has approved the construction of an airstrip for Canaanland, the property owned by the Living Faith Church in Ota, Ogun State. In a video, the Church’s founder, David Oyedepo, joyfully announced the government’s approval during a special thanksgiving event at Covenant University Chapel.
The airstrip will allow Oyedepo to travel directly from Canaanland without the need to go to the airport first. This development aims to improve transportation for worshippers and visitors during large church events. Oyedepo encouraged his followers to find their purpose and pursue it, noting that even Covenant University graduates now fly him as pilots.
The approval of the airstrip is a significant milestone for the church, providing convenience and accessibility for all. This news showcases the government’s support for religious institutions and the importance of infrastructure development in serving communities.
