Tragic Incident at Catholic Good News Radio Station
Recently, a security guard at the Catholic Good News Radio station in Rumbek, Lakes States, tragically took his own life. The Director of the station, Rafael Makuei, and two staff members were briefly detained for investigation following the incident.
The Lakes State Police confirmed that the security guard was found dead by hanging in his cubicle at the station’s main gate on Sunday night. The police quickly responded to the scene and determined that it was a suicide.
While the investigations are ongoing, the body of the deceased guard has been taken for a postmortem examination. The local community, including Lakes State Civil Society Organization Network, expressed their shock and sadness over the incident.
