Recently, First Deputy Minister of Defense – Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, met with NATO’s Director General of the International Military Staff, Lieutenant General Janusz Adamczak. The meeting highlighted the strong relations between Azerbaijan and NATO, emphasizing the ongoing cooperation and partnership.
Colonel General Valiyev discussed the significant Victory achieved in the Patriotic War under President Ilham Aliyev’s leadership. He reiterated the commitment of the Azerbaijan Army to international humanitarian law during military operations, focusing on civilian protection.
