Defense Minister Nikos Dendias recently participated in the Adriatic and Ionian Initiative (ADRION) summit in Venice. As Greece holds the presidency of the initiative, Dendias highlighted the significance of regional cooperation on maritime security and naval compatibility.

The summit brought together defense officials from Albania, Croatia, Italy, Montenegro, and Slovenia to discuss enhancing defense relationships in the region. Set against the picturesque backdrop of Venice’s canals, the discussions focused on strengthening defense ties to promote collective security in the area.
