BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 9. The Azerbaijani Army launched the “Iron Fist” counter-offensive operation on September 27, 2020 in response to Armenian provocation. The 44-day Second Karabakh War ended with Azerbaijan liberating its territories from Armenian occupation.
Highlights of the 13th day of the war include President Ilham Aliyev announcing the liberation of Hadrut and other villages, destruction of Armenian military equipment, and capture of more units. Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported destruction of Armenian headquarters, artillery chief, and missiles. Armenian forces continued shelling Azerbaijani regions, causing injuries.
Azerbaijani army seized more military equipment and released videos of liberated regions. Additionally, Grad MLRS and enemy Prima MLRS were destroyed. The Defense Ministry shared footage from liberated villages and reported civilian injuries from Armenian rocket fire.
