Pakistanis gather to mark 1 year since Israel-Hamas conflict

Thousands of people gathered in Karachi, Pakistan, to commemorate the first anniversary of the Israel-Hamas war in a massive event called the “Al-Aqsa Million March.” The demonstration, organized by Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and supported by various political parties, trade associations, and pro-Palestine groups, included chants of solidarity and waving of flags.

Participants displayed banners calling for an end to the genocide in Gaza and showing support for the Palestinian cause. The rally highlighted the unity of Pakistanis in standing with Palestinians against the injustices inflicted by Israel.

Speakers at the event criticized international organizations like the UN for their inaction and praised those countries and individuals who have taken a stand for justice. The ongoing Israeli offensive in Gaza, resulting in thousands of casualties and displacements, has sparked outrage and calls for accountability.

Despite the challenges, the spirit of resistance remains strong, with continued support for Palestinians in their struggle for freedom and justice.
