Hezbollah targets Israeli army in northern Israel.

Lebanese Hezbollah fighters launched rockets targeting Israeli army sites in northern Israel in support of Palestinians in Gaza. The group hit soldiers near Al-Marj military site and artillery bunkers in Dishon and Dalton towns. Hezbollah’s actions were to defend Lebanon and its people, stating solidarity with Gaza’s “courageous resistance.”

In retaliation, Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes across Lebanon, claiming to target Hezbollah military capabilities. The ongoing conflict has resulted in over 1,250 fatalities, 3,618 injuries, and displaced 1.2 million people. This escalation follows a year of warfare since Israel’s offensive on Gaza, resulting in thousands of civilian deaths.

Despite warnings of a regional war, Israel further escalated by launching a ground invasion into southern Lebanon. The situation remains volatile, with both sides engaging in deadly attacks. The international community is closely monitoring the conflict as tensions continue to rise in the Middle East.
