Fubara sparks anarchy in Rivers by defying court – Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, recently voiced concerns over Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, disobeying a court judgment, warning that such actions could incite anarchy and lawlessness.

During an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Wike emphasized the importance of upholding the rule of law and the need for compliance with court rulings to prevent chaos and promote order in the society.

Wike, a former governor himself, criticized Fubara for publicly announcing his refusal to adhere to a court decision, stating that such actions could lead to violence and instability.

Furthermore, Wike highlighted the significance of police presence in maintaining law and order during elections, condemning any governor who overlooks the necessity of law enforcement support in conducting a successful election process.
