European Parliament to discuss Bosnia and Herzegovina floods

Tomorrow, the European Parliament will address the tragic floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina that have resulted in loss of life. The scheduled debates will focus on the impact of the floods, as announced on the Parliament’s website.

The agenda of the debate will include discussions about the devastating floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The death toll from the floods in Jablanica and Konjic has risen to 18, with seven individuals still missing, as reported by the Government of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.

Official figures show that 16 people lost their lives in Jablanica, while two perished in Konjic. The identity of one body has yet to be confirmed.

Search and rescue efforts are ongoing for three missing persons in Konjic and four in Jablanica, according to the Government’s statement.

Today, Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the Republic of Srpska, FBiH, and Brčko District, observe a Day of Mourning to honor the victims of the devastating floods.
