Following a tragic shooting incident in Mexico that resulted in the death of three Egyptian nationals, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, Badr Abdelatty, engaged in a phone call with Mexico’s Foreign Secretary, Juan Ramón de la Fuente, to discuss the latest developments.
The Mexican foreign secretary expressed his condolences and shared his deep sorrow over the incident, assuring that investigations are ongoing and the outcomes will be communicated to the Egyptian government once concluded.
Abdelatty urged the Mexican government to expedite the investigations to facilitate the repatriation of the victims’ bodies and ensure appropriate medical care for the injured individuals.
The discussion also touched upon enhancing Egyptian-Mexican relations, particularly in terms of trade and investments, highlighting the mutual benefits that can be achieved through collaboration.
