Remembering the Late Akwa Ibom First Lady: A Lifetime of Mourning
Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom state, still mourning the passing of his wife, Pastor Patience Umo Eno, expressed his deep pain and difficulty in coming to terms with the loss. He shared his grief with colleagues of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum who visited him at the Government House in Uyo.
Reflecting on his wife’s life, Governor Eno described her as a successful and accomplished individual who lived a fulfilled life. He emphasized that the pain of losing her is something that he will carry with him for a lifetime.
He expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and comfort from fellow governors and well-meaning Nigerians, acknowledging that their gestures have provided hope and strength during this time of mourning.
Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq and Governor Godwin Obaseki also extended their condolences, highlighting the impact of the late Mrs. Patience Eno’s positive energy and values.
