Welcome Uzbekistan’s Air Defense Commander to Azerbaijan!
Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, welcomed Major General Akhmad Burkhanov, Commander of the Air Defense Forces and the Air Force of Uzbekistan, on his visit to Azerbaijan. Hasanov praised the strong military cooperation between the two countries based on their friendly relations.
Both commanders emphasized the need for further development in military cooperation, following the directives of President Ilham Aliyev. An official welcoming ceremony marked the visit, with discussions on exchanging experiences in military aviation and air defense, as well as mutual visits.
The Uzbek delegation was briefed on activities at the Central Command Point of the Air Force, showcasing the potential for enhanced collaboration in various military spheres. The meeting signals a promising path for future cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
