Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had a productive meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, where he expressed gratitude for the Cabinet’s approval of revised cost estimates for the Polavaram Project and support for Amaravati, the state capital.
Naidu took to social media to thank PM Modi for his ongoing support and reassurance regarding financial challenges in the state, as well as his backing for Amaravati’s development.
During the meeting, Naidu updated PM Modi on Andhra Pradesh’s progress and expressed appreciation for the PM’s backing of critical projects. Additionally, Naidu met with Union Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss the establishment of a Railway Zone in Visakhapatnam.
Vaishnaw shared plans for substantial railway infrastructure investments in Andhra Pradesh, totaling Rs 73,743 crore, highlighting the government’s commitment to the state’s development.
