Sweden is providing these vehicles to support the formation of new Ukrainian brigades as part of a military support package. The Pbv 302, developed in the 1960s, is a highly mobile infantry fighting vehicle armed with a powerful cannon. Ukraine plans to use it as an infantry fighting vehicle in its Armed Forces. With wide tracks, amphibious capability, and good off-road mobility, the Pbv 302 is well-suited for Ukraine’s terrain. It can reach speeds of 65 kph and travel up to 300 kilometers.
