South African family in Israel happily settled despite war

In a recent interview, Adler shared his experience of living in a war zone in Israel. Despite the ongoing conflict, he explained that life goes on as normal for the residents. Schools are closed, and children are attending classes in bomb shelters or via Zoom.

Adler mentioned that on the day of the attack, they had to seek shelter multiple times. However, he expressed gratitude for the strong Israeli army that protects them.

While facing emotional challenges, Adler believes that Israelis have adapted to this lifestyle and continue to lead a happy life in the midst of turmoil.

On the other hand, Global Rights Compliance, a human rights foundation, raised concerns about Israel’s reaction to the attack. They are documenting and investigating war crimes in Gaza, particularly focusing on the issue of starvation.

It is crucial, according to the organization, to investigate these violations to safeguard the rights and dignity of affected civilians. Wayne Jordash, the president of the organization, emphasized the importance of respecting international humanitarian law amidst conflicts.
