PM Shehbaz Sharif Visits Chinese Embassy to Offer Condolences
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad to offer his heartfelt condolences over the killings of two Chinese citizens in a terrorist attack in Karachi. He assured the Chinese Ambassador of swift identification and justice for those responsible.
PM Shehbaz emphasized the top priority of protecting Chinese nationals in Pakistan, vowing to strengthen security arrangements. The Chinese Ambassador expressed gratitude for the swift response and confidence in effective investigations by the Government of Pakistan.
The bomb disposal squad revealed that 70 to 80 kilograms of explosives were used in the attack, resulting in three deaths and 17 injuries. The blast, carried out with a vehicle-installed device, damaged 15 vehicles. All evidence has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
This tragic incident highlights the importance of cooperation between Pakistan and China in combating terrorism and ensuring the safety of foreign nationals within Pakistan.
