South Korea and Philippines elevate relationship to ‘strategic partnership’

During a state visit to the Philippines, South Korea President Yoon Suk Yeol and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. declared an upgrade in their countries’ relationship, now considered a ‘strategic partnership’ with an emphasis on defense and security cooperation.
