Montenegrin rescuers are on their way this morning to assist Bosnia and Herzegovina in recovering from catastrophic floods. The trained team includes firefighters and rescuers who specialize in search and rescue operations.
Previously, this team helped Turkey after a devastating earthquake. Now, they will focus on searching the ruins to locate any missing individuals in BiH.
In support, the Red Cross of Montenegro has launched a fundraising campaign to provide financial aid to those affected by the floods and landslides in BiH. Residents can donate money through a special giro account or SMS number.
Montenegrin Prime Minister, Milojko Spajić, expressed condolences and offered assistance to the flood victims in BiH. He emphasized the country’s solidarity and readiness to help in any way possible during this difficult time.
