Montenegro Launches Action to Collect Aid for BiH

The Red Cross of Montenegro has initiated a fundraising campaign to assist the flood and landslide-affected population of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). They have set up a special giro account and SMS number for Montenegrin residents to donate money, with the funds being transferred to the Red Cross of BiH. The focus is on financial aid, so residents are requested not to contribute clothing, food, or hygiene products unless specifically needed.

Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić has expressed his condolences to the flood victims’ families in BiH and offered assistance on behalf of his country. He conveyed solidarity and support, stating, “Montenegro stands by you wholeheartedly and is prepared to assist in any way possible. We hope you find solace and resilience during this challenging period.” The initiative aims to provide immediate financial relief to those in need and showcase solidarity among neighboring nations during times of crisis.
