UK Ministry of Defense Director Overseas Bases, Dr Sam Griffiths, recently toured the British Forces South Atlantic Islands, gaining insight into joint force operations at the Mount Pleasant Complex. He also met with Falkland Islands Governor and Members of the Legislative Assembly.
Brigadier Dan Duff, Commander of British Forces in the South Atlantic, expressed satisfaction in showcasing the operations to Dr. Griffiths, who had previously visited Gibraltar. The joint forces HQ at MPC boasts an impressive fleet, including Typhoon fighters, Voyager tanker, and Atlas C1, ensuring defense in the region.
