Empowering Africa: Meet the New Chairman of IHRO-Africa Committee on Economic Diplomacy, Trade, and Investment

The International Human Rights Observatory Africa (IHRO-Africa) has appointed philanthropist and CEO of Dau-O-Gik Oil and Gas, Ambassador Daniel Koussou, as the Chairman of the Committee on Economic Diplomacy, Trade, and Investment in Nigeria. IHRO-Africa is a leading civil society organization dedicated to advancing human rights and empowering marginalized communities across Africa.

In his new role, Koussou will spearhead efforts to promote economic diplomacy, facilitate trade, and attract investment in the region. Country Director of BIGWIL IHRO-Africa, Dr. Chimbo Obieze, emphasized Koussou’s dedication to fostering economic growth and development. Highlighting the chairman’s responsibilities, Obieze expressed confidence in Koussou’s ability to excel in advancing sustainable development and prosperity for all.

In his acceptance speech, Koussou expressed his commitment to serving humanity and protecting the vulnerable in Nigeria. IHRO-Africa aims to collaborate with African governments for project implementation and good governance, focusing on regional and national economic development goals for a better Africa.
