An Israeli soldier killed in clashes with Hezbollah on Lebanese border

Amid intense air raids on Beirut’s suburbs, the Israeli military confirmed the death of a reserve sergeant and serious injury of two soldiers during fighting with Hezbollah. Israel also announced a training exercise in the Western Galilee. Media restrictions prevent the disclosure of Israeli casualties from Hezbollah clashes and Gaza battles.

Hezbollah retaliated with rocket attacks on Israeli settlements, causing damage but no casualties. Israeli airstrikes in Beirut led to civilian deaths, while Hezbollah targeted military installations in Haifa and Tiberias, injuring several. Schools in Haifa shifted to remote learning due to ongoing rocket fire.

Since escalating operations, over 2,000 people have died and thousands injured, with Lebanon bearing significant losses. Despite warning, Israel’s incursions into Lebanon continue. Hezbollah vows to defend against Israeli aggression with various attacks.
