Israeli army kills 26 in new Gaza incursion

Tragedy struck the Gaza Strip as Israeli airstrikes targeted a mosque and school, resulting in at least 26 deaths and 93 injuries, as reported by the Hamas-run Gaza government media office. The violence escalated as the Israeli military conducted strikes on alleged Hamas terrorists embedded in civilian structures.

Amidst ongoing conflict, Palestinian health officials confirmed additional casualties, bringing the total to over 40,000 killed and millions displaced in Gaza. The International Committee of the Red Cross called for the protection of civilians in the region.

The situation worsened as Israeli forces advanced into northern Gaza, leading to more civilian casualties. The cycle of violence and destruction continues to devastate the area, with no safe haven for residents.

As tensions rise, both sides claim military objectives while innocent lives are lost. The plea for peace and humanitarian intervention grows louder as the toll on the people of Gaza increases with each passing day.

The tragic events underscore the urgent need for a peaceful resolution and the protection of civilian lives in the region.
