Israel commemorates 1 year of Gaza massacre, claims lives of 42 Palestinians

Israeli Army Continues Deadly Strikes in Gaza

On the first anniversary of Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army has continued its deadly strikes, killing 42 Palestinians across the devastated enclave. The Gaza Civil Defense reported that three Palestinians were killed and six injured in an airstrike on the Bureij refugee camp. In Khan Younis, a Palestinian girl was killed in artillery shelling, while in Rafah city, eight Palestinians, including women and children, were killed in an airstrike on a home.

The brutal offensive has displaced almost the entire population of Gaza amid an ongoing blockade, causing severe shortages of food, clean water, and medicine. Despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for a cease-fire, Israel has persisted in its aggression.

An international court case for genocide is pending against Israel for its actions in Gaza. Nearly 42,000 people have been killed, mostly women and children, with over 97,300 others injured according to local health authorities.
