As the war in Gaza reaches its one-year mark, protests have erupted worldwide condemning Israel’s assault on the Palestinian territory. In New Delhi, 150 protesters rallied in support of Palestinians, decrying the lack of food and starvation. Activists criticized India’s arms sales to Israel, questioning the support for the country.

In Ramallah, hundreds of Palestinians marched, carrying flags of solidarity with Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen. In Jakarta, over 1,000 protesters demanded the US stop sending weapons to Israel. In Cape Town, South Africa, chants of “Israel is a racist state!” rang out as demonstrators marched to parliament.

In Berlin, police used tear gas to disperse protesters as clashes erupted, with banners calling for an end to the violence in Gaza. The conflict has led to over 41,900 deaths in Gaza, with allegations of genocide against Israel at the International Court of Justice.
