Meetings of the ministerial committee on foreign and security policy are usually confidential, but recent dissent from Essayah and Foreign Trade Minister Ville Tavio has brought internal disagreements to light. Despite assurances of unity from Orpo and Stubb, opposition leaders such as Antti Kaikkonen and Antti Lindtman are skeptical of the government’s claims.
