Rescue Operation: AVCC and CPLC Save Kidnapped Citizen in Karachi
In a successful joint effort, the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) and Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) rescued Nasir Hussain, a kidnapped citizen, from Karachi. Nasir Hussain was abducted from Sector 5-D Bilal Colony in Karachi’s Central district and the kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs. 1 million for his release. The AVCC took charge of the investigation and a specialized team was formed to track down the culprits. Through thorough surveillance and technical analysis, the team was able to locate the kidnappers and safely recover Nasir Hussain.
Meanwhile, in another incident, bandits in the Katcha area kidnapped eight individuals, including four women, by luring them with a deceptive marriage proposal. The victims, residents of Sukkur’s Micro Colony, fell prey to the bandits’ ploy and were kidnapped in the Katcha area of Napur Kot. These incidents highlight the importance of vigilance and prompt action to combat criminal activities.
