A year into Gaza conflict, Jordan maintains diverse support for Palestinians.

As the Israeli war on Gaza enters its second year on October 7, Jordan remains steadfast in its commitment to finding a sustainable resolution to the ongoing conflict. Minister of Government Communication and Government Spokesperson Mohammad Momani emphasized Jordan’s comprehensive efforts to end Israel’s aggression against Gaza, highlighting the Kingdom’s historical role as a mediator in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Since October 7, His Majesty King Abdullah has been actively urging international intervention to stop the violence, engaging in diplomatic visits and meetings with world leaders for Palestinian support. Her Majesty Queen Rania and the Crown Prince have also voiced their unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi has been leading a diplomatic campaign for an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian relief for Palestinians in Gaza. The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO) has played a crucial role in delivering aid to Gaza, overcoming various challenges to provide essential support.

The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army has conducted numerous airdrops to deliver supplies to Gaza, showcasing Jordan’s commitment to assisting the Palestinian people during this difficult time.
