“We want to see an end to the humanitarian drama and the silence of weapons, to return to the path of politics and diplomacy”.

King Felipe VI of Spain has urged for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, denouncing the ongoing war’s devastating impact on civilians and infrastructure. During his visit to Jordan, he emphasized the urgent need to end the conflict and address the humanitarian crisis in the region.

Spain has taken a strong stance against Israel’s actions in Gaza, joining other nations in condemning the violence and advocating for diplomatic solutions. The king reiterated his support for peace and dialogue, calling for a two-state solution to achieve lasting stability in the region.

Spain Stands against Genocide

Notably, Spain has recognized Palestine as a state and announced its participation in legal actions against Israel for alleged genocide. Spanish politicians have criticized the international community for its complicity in the Gaza conflict and called for accountability.

Gaza Genocide Continues

Despite calls for a ceasefire, the violence in Gaza persists, with devastating consequences for the Palestinian population. International organizations have raised concerns about the high number of civilian casualties, especially among women and children, as well as the widespread destruction and displacement.
