Former Ogun State Governor, Chief Olusegun Osoba, delivered a powerful message urging Nigerians to unite in support of President Bola Tinubu. Osoba emphasized that Tinubu’s journey to the presidency was not a solitary achievement but a collective effort by Yoruba leadership.
Speaking at the All Progressives Congress South West Zone Assembly meeting in Lagos, Osoba highlighted the pivotal role played by South West leaders in propelling Tinubu onto the national political stage back in 2007.
The assembly reflected on the struggles faced by the Yoruba people over the years in their quest for leadership at the national level. Despite challenges and past losses, Osoba remained optimistic and urged the Yoruba community to embrace Tinubu’s leadership, vouching for his ability to deliver on his promises.
President Bola Tinubu’s election in 2023 marked a significant milestone in Nigerian politics, with his tenure as governor of Lagos State being recognized for transforming the region into an economic powerhouse.
