Israel Strikes Beirut Ahead of October 7 Anniversary

Israel’s conflict with Hamas and Hezbollah escalated as Israel bombarded southern Beirut, targeting Hezbollah weapons storage sites. The airstrikes intensified one year after attacks by Hamas led to a destructive war in Gaza.

Eyewitnesses reported massive strikes in Beirut, with over 30 strikes hitting southern suburbs. Israel claimed to have warned civilians before the attacks, blaming Hezbollah for hiding weapons in civilian areas.

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas has claimed thousands of lives and displaced many. Tensions with Hezbollah led to ground incursions into southern Lebanon, with casualties reported on both sides.

IDF warned residents in southern Lebanon to evacuate immediately, as airstrikes continued. Israeli forces targeted Hezbollah operatives, including commanders, in recent attacks.

Defense Minister Gallant promised more surprises for Hezbollah, following the killing of their chief. The conflict has caused humanitarian concerns and displaced thousands in the region.

The situation remains tense as both Israel and Hezbollah exchange blows, escalating tensions in the region.
