Iran’s Foreign Ministry has summoned the Australian ambassador in Tehran to protest his country’s “biased and unjustified” stance on recent developments in the region and the Israeli regime’s actions that escalate regional tensions.

Ali Asghar Mohammadi expressed Iran’s discontent with Australia’s support for Israel’s aggressive acts against Gaza and Lebanon, citing assassinations and violations of international law.

Mohammadi reiterated Iran’s right to self-defense and defended the recent missile attack on Israel, emphasizing the need to stop Israel’s aggression in the region.

He warned against unilateral actions and biased approaches to regional conflicts, urging Western powers to play a responsible role in easing tensions.

The Australian ambassador promised to convey Iran’s protest and discussed efforts to establish a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon.
