Iran calls in Australian envoy over Canberra’s regional policy

In a recent meeting, the Director General for Asia-Pacific Affairs of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly criticized Australia’s biased positions towards regional developments and the aggressive actions of the Zionist regime. He condemned Australia’s double standard approach and demanded responsible action to stop the genocide in Gaza and the aggressions against Lebanon.

Mohammadi highlighted Iran’s right to self-defense against Zionist aggressions and defended the missile operations as essential for national security. He emphasized the need for Western countries to support de-escalation in the region rather than emboldening the aggressor.

The Australian ambassador acknowledged Iran’s protest and expressed his government’s efforts to establish a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon. However, the Iranian official stressed the importance of immediate action and urged Australia to take a stand against the unjust actions of the Zionist regime.

In a time of escalating tensions, it is crucial for all parties to work towards peace and stability in the region. Australia’s role in addressing these critical issues will be closely watched by the international community.
