Yesterday, the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) requested international assistance through the Mechanism for Civil Protection of the European Union to help with the aftermath of floods and landslides in several municipalities. The Federation of BiH Government deemed the situation severe enough to warrant external help and provided a list of necessary equipment and resources.
The Minister of Security, Nenad Nesic, assured that aid would be efficiently coordinated and distributed to the most affected areas. Citizens can contribute by dialing specific numbers like Caritas’ 17764 or Pomozi.ba’s 17039 to donate 2 BAM each, among others. Merhamet also offers a charitable number where a 2 BAM contribution can help the most vulnerable.
In addition, the Red Cross in FBiH established a humanitarian number and provided a dedicated account for donations. By coming together and offering assistance, we can support those in need and aid in the recovery process.
