Asad Qaiser warns of nationwide protests over Gandapur’s ‘disappearance’

Former Speaker National Assembly Issues Warning: PTI Leader’s Detention Sparks Outrage

The Former Speaker National Assembly and senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, Asad Qaiser, has issued a stern warning of nationwide protests if Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, is not released within the next 24 hours. Qaiser, accompanied by members of the KP Assembly, expressed outrage over the alleged detention of Gandapur, calling it unprecedented in the history of the world.

Qaiser condemned the vandalism of KP House in Islamabad and demanded the immediate release of Gandapur, along with over 1,000 PTI workers currently under arrest by the federal police. He criticized the government’s alleged efforts to suppress the opposition and threatened a boycott of assembly meetings if controversial constitutional amendments were introduced.

Pointing out the discrepancy in treatment between Gandapur and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, Qaiser raised questions about the situation. The incident began when Gandapur went missing en route to a protest in Islamabad, with PTI claiming his detention while the government denies any official custody. Stay tuned for updates on this developing situation!
