국힘 백서위 “한동훈 이미지 조사, 대외비 아냐”

In the recent political scandal involving the leak of sensitive information, former member of the People Power Party (PPP), Sang-gyu, denied passing confidential data to Kim Dae-nam, a former administrative assistant to the president. Sang-gyu stated that he had never spoken to Kim and had kept the data to himself.

The leaked information involved a study conducted by Yeouido Research Institute, a think tank for the PPP, which examined the image of a presidential candidate among voters aged 30 and below. The suspicion arose when Kim allegedly contacted a journalist to discredit the candidate’s image survey conducted by the institute. This led to suspicions that Sang-gyu may have been involved in the leak.

The controversy was escalated by Shin Ji-ho, a former head of the PPP’s strategic planning department, who called for a thorough investigation into the matter. Shin claimed that the cost of the survey was actually 18 billion won, not 70 billion won as alleged, and accused Sang-gyu of possible distortion of information.

The unfolding scandal has raised questions about the integrity of political surveys and the inner workings of the PPP. As the investigation continues, the truth behind the leak remains to be uncovered.
