Mutah University student arrested for allegedly stabbing professor to death.

Shocking news emerged from Mutah University as a student allegedly stabbed and killed a university professor in a tragic incident. The victim, identified as Ahmad Zu’by, was brutally attacked and later succumbed to his injuries at Karak Government Hospital.

The suspect, a student studying engineering at the university, turned himself in and admitted to the crime, according to Police Spokesperson Lt. Col. Amer Sartawi. The victim, a distinguished academic in the Arabic Language Department, had an impressive educational background, including a PhD in Pre-Islamic Literature from Mustansiriyah University in Iraq.

Both the victim’s family and the suspect’s family released statements, with the latter condemning the “heinous murder” and expressing shock over the incident. The suspect’s family emphasized that there was no apparent motive for the attack and called for a thorough investigation into the matter.
