The PTI Government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Criticized by Opposition Parties
Opposition parties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the Pakistan Peoples Party, Awami National Party, and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, have slammed the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government for failing to implement public welfare schemes despite their promises. The parties have accused the ruling PTI of misusing official resources for political activities instead of focusing on development projects.
PPP Women’s Wing President Senator Rubina Khalid and other party members expressed their disappointment with the provincial government for neglecting the people’s needs. They criticized Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur for using government resources for protests rather than addressing key issues such as clean drinking water, health, and education.
ANP provincial spokesperson Arslan Khan echoed similar sentiments, stating that the government’s priorities were misplaced, leading to a sense of deprivation among the people. PML-N’s Ikhtiar Wali Khan called out CM Gandapur for irresponsible media statements and urged the PTI to prioritize public welfare over political activities.
It is clear that the opposition is holding the PTI government accountable for its lack of action and is demanding tangible progress for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
