In a heart-touching incident, 96 South Korean citizens along with one Lebanese family returned safely home from war-torn Lebanon on a Korean Air Force KC-330 ‘Sigynus’ transport plane. These evacuees expressed deep gratitude for their safe return to South Korea, away from the constant fear of missile attacks in Lebanon. The evacuees shared stories of sleepless nights due to bomb explosions and expressed relief at being back in a safe country.

These brave evacuees, including children and elderly individuals, were warmly welcomed upon their arrival in Seoul by various officials, including the South Korean Minister of Defense and the Air Force Chief of Staff. The successful evacuation mission was praised for fulfilling the duty of protecting Korean citizens abroad.
