Missile Strike Kills 6 N. Korean Officers Near Donetsk – Intel.

The recent missile strike on Russian-occupied territory near Donetsk resulted in the deaths of more than 20 soldiers, including six officers from North Korea. The strike occurred during a demonstration of training exercises to North Korean representatives. Last year, Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate reported the presence of North Korean servicemen in the region, highlighting cooperation between Russia and North Korea. The Center for National Resistance revealed Russia’s plans to bring North Korean citizens to Donetsk and Luhansk for construction work. Russian President Putin also convinced North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to establish diplomatic missions in the occupied territories. This move was aimed at addressing the labor shortage caused by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The presence of North Korean workers in the region indicates the Kremlin’s efforts to secure a stable labor force in the face of military and economic challenges. The situation underscores the complex interplay between international politics and military strategies in the region.
