Iran’s President, Pezeshkian, expressed his intention to participate in the Friday Prayer led by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei. He emphasized the importance of demonstrating power, unity, and solidarity in the face of recent global events.
Ayatollah Khamenei is scheduled to lead the Friday Prayer and address the current situation in Lebanon and Gaza. Furthermore, a ceremony will be held to honor the late Secretary General of Hezbollah, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, who was martyred in a tragic attack in Beirut.
This upcoming Friday Prayer holds significance as it marks the first time Ayatollah Khamenei will lead the congregation in Tehran since January 2020, following the death of Iranian commander Lt. General Qassem Soleimani.
